FEMFORCE - Issue 141 - $6.95, 44 pgs. b and w with color cover.

Fighting a bizarre team of super villains in an antediluvian jungle, The FEMFORCE have "Nothing To Fear", but DEATH comes calling nonetheless- and the team loses a member; while PARAGON and TARA are left behind to deal with a separate menace. PLUS-another untold WWII adventure of- The BLUE BULLETEER!!

Special Notes: The first "big event" to rock the Femforce line-up since Ms. Victory became the villainous RAD in the late 1980's occurs this month, as a member of the team dies. No, it's not a trick, not a dream, not an imaginary tale- it really happens here; opening up the door for lots of interesting story situations in future issues as the team (most of whom are virtually invulnerable, and while not actually immortal, have greatly-expanded life spans) must deal with the first real, permanent loss to its ranks. Storyline architect Chris Irving (now with TwoMorrows Publishing) crafts a thoughtful and poignant drama.

BLUE BULLTEER: CAPTURED BY THE CLOAK! DVD- $24.95.

All-new AC COMICS live-action DVD double feature!! FEMFORCE fury, the BLUE BULLETEER (Maria Paris), fights the mysterious cowled criminal mastermind The CLOAK (Mike Acord). Then, a space pilot crashlands on a forbidden world where he is terrorized by a beautiful giantess in "PLANET OF THE DAMNED".

Special Notes: Two of Smarty Pants Entertainment's (the filmmaking arm of AC Comics) brightest stars share the screen in Blue Bulleteer: Captured By The Cloak: Maria Paris - who portrays The Blue Bulleteer, and Mike Acord, who assays the role of the villainous Cloak. Maria stole the show in 2005's Nightveil: Witch War as the villainess Alizarin Crimson, and is soon to be seen in the lead role in the upcoming "THE SANGOR SYNDROME," while Mike also appears as Lon Madnight, the host/narrator of vintage horror classics in AC's Crypt of Horror movie series. The screenplay was penned by an AC fan who DIDN'T enjoy the Nightveil: Witch war, and responded to the challenge of "Alright, then let's see YOU write something BETTER!!" by producing this taut little crime drama.

The second part of this double-feature stars new discovery Amy LoCicero in an oddwad sci-fi fantasy romp written by AC head honcho Bill Black that would have fit in perfectly as 1950's drive-in fare. Shipwrecked spacemen and sexy giant female alien? What could be better? Plus, this package sports lots of extras- a photo gallery of production stills, trailers and other special features.

FEMFORCE - Issue 142 - $6.95, 44 pgs. b and w with color cover.

A Femforce member is gone, but NIGHTVEIL may not be willing to accept it. What happens when a cloned offspring is created without your consent, or knowledge, and comes home to join the family? Ask PARAGON and MS. VICTORY - it just happened to them!! And what's up with SHE-CAT?!?

Special Notes: As the FEMFORCE team deal with the first fatality among the group, a new chapter in the team's history begins. Plot threads continuing on from last issue's climatic storyline begin to lead to an exploration of social, legal and political issues we may all have to deal with in the coming years - if a human being is created through cloning, whose responsibility is he/she? The people who provided the genetic material the clone was created from, the scientist or organization that created him/her, or the government that allowed it to happen? If a human is artificially created from the DNA of a husband and wife without their involvement, is that clone their "child ?" What if the clone wants to be a part of the "family," but the parents don't necessarily agree?

FEMFORCE - Issue 143 - $6.95, 44 pgs. b and w with color cover.

What has changed with SHE-CAT that she no longer has her edge? Can a potential paternity suit undercut MS. VICTORY'S capacity to fight crime? Why is NIGHTVEIL acting so strangely? And-remember the GAMMAZONS FROM GALAXY G? They're back!! "Good girl art" action and fun!!

Special Notes: In the wake of the startling death of STARDUST, this issue continues to follow the effects from the epic battle that caused her demise, and how it has impacted the rest of the team.

Also of note - This issue marks the debut of new writer (and long-time FEMFORCE historian ) Eric Johnson, a 17-year student of FEMFORCE continuity.
